Our new logo

Our department announced that we were choosing a logo in order to use in the social media, department promotion events, brochures, and such. We received more than 30 designs (collected into 22 sets) during the submission period (open to anyone), and our students ranked those sets, amongst which the highest ranked three were then presented to the faculty for voting. After all this, we now announce the winning candidate:

For transparency, we would like to disclose that the candidates (1,2,3,4,5) chosen by our students received (1,2,5,0,4) respective votes by the faculty.

About the designer

Our new logo is designed by Ahmet Burak Göral, a junior bachelor's student in our very own department. We thank him for his contribution, and congratulate him on winning this friendly contest!
